Lacquer free door surface
This common type of door panel, is usually using melamine decorative paper as the veneer material. Many panel brands have dual finishes, such as EGGER board and Fenza board.
Advantages: Rich color patterns, wear resistance, and good stability
Disadvantage: It can only be used for flat door panels and cannot be used for door panels with concave and convex patterns.
PET surface
The veneer material is made of PET material, which can be divided into two types: matte and high gloss. PET, also known as polyethylene terephthalate (PET), is widely used in food and beverage packaging (such as mineral water bottles). So it is a new type of environmentally friendly polymer material.
Advantages: environmentally friendly, not easily fading, resistant to high temperature, aging, wear-resistant, and easy to clean
Disadvantages: The price is expensive, and high-quality PET finishes are mostly produced in Europe and the United States.
Molded door surface
Sculpting shapes on HDF/MDF through machines, and then forming them through high-temperature pressing of PVC films.
Can be made into concave and convex three-dimensional pattern shapes.
Advantages: Integrated molding does not require edge sealing, can made into three-dimensional patterns, and can create a solid wood texture.
Disadvantages: Not wear-resistant and difficult to clean.
Painted door surface
Using HDF/MDF as the substrate, and then the door will be in the process of spraying primer, drying, polishing, and then high-temperature baking. It is usually divided into metal baking paint and high gloss baking paint, with diverse patterns and bright colors.
Advantages: No need for edge sealing, anti fouling, moisture-proof, and fireproof.
Disadvantages: High cost, low paint hardness, and prone to scratches.
Solid wood door surface
The door panel made of natural wood has clear and natural texture of pure wood.
Advantages: Environmental protection, long service life, natural and clear texture.
Disadvantages: Difficult maintenance, risk of cracking, and high cost.
